TV and the brain

TV is a very powerful medium.

I am Canadian and if you know anything about media studies you know that here in Canada we had one of the best media expert in the world.

Is name?

Marshall McLuhan.

In his hey days, he coined the saying that the medium was the message.

Unfortunately I don't totally agree with him. Well that's another story.

But here's a short video that hits the nail on the head about TV :-)!

It's factual in a sense.

The rise of violence and aggression in schools and society in general can be attributed to violence on television and the internet.

Scientific studies after scientific studies prove that images can affect your brain and stimulate aggression and violence.

Scenes of violence are a dime a dozen on television and the interet. They can easily influence your brain and your mind to commit acts that you don't want to do. Sometimes it's your unconscious mind that propels you to do things automatically.
